Union Information and Service Center to implement Digital Bangladesh


Even after 39 years of independence, when the general public of Bangladesh used to go to various offices to get the basic benefits of the independent country, the present government worked with the certainty of building digital Bangladesh after coming to power with the government in 2009. In order to implement the vision of the government, 64 web portal (known as District Web Portal) was first created in 64 districts of the country with all the information of the district. After making web portals, the general public can easily get information in their cyber cafes in the market near their home without going to the relevant office. But because of the lack of information about all the web portals, many people are getting acquainted with this facility. In order to make them aware and to get information at home, union information and service centers have been set up in every union after the district level. November 11, 2010 On this occasion, the Honorable Prime Minister inaugurated these Union Information and Services Centers (UISC) in all unions in Bangladesh. After the inauguration of the Union Information and Services Centers, a new horizon of the implementation of digital Bangladesh was unveiled.

Various digital services are provided to Union residents of Union Information and Services Centers (UISC). But the people of the Union Information and Services Centers, who do not have any formal education, the people of the area are not getting the proper digital services. Besides, they do not pay any attention to the fact that they do not have any salary fixed to the service center entrepreneurs. Therefore, urgent need for training of the union information and service centers in different subjects. Only the union information and service centers will be managed properly.
